We walk you through preparation and aftercare, including shaving and sun-exposure guidance, so you know how to arrive ready for treatment.

Build reduction · Sessions 1–6
Our treatment target is 80%+ hair reduction through the first six sessions. We track your response as the series progresses and tailor treatment settings and timing to you.

Refine your progress · Sessions 7–8
The final two planned sessions focus on remaining growth. We review your progress together and discuss whether additional treatment or maintenance would be helpful.

Maintain your results · Yearly touch-ups
After your initial series, plan for yearly touch-ups as needed. Your provider will recommend timing based on regrowth and the area treated.
80%+ is a treatment target, not a guaranteed result. Progress varies with the treatment area, hair, skin, hormones and individual response. Your provider may recommend a different number of sessions or maintenance treatment.

Will laser hair removal work for my skin and hair color?
Our laser cannot effectively treat very light blonde, white or gray hair. Red hair may also respond poorly.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Laser hair removal can be surprisingly comfortable. We invest in your comfort by using cryogen cooling with our GentleMax Pro. A cooling spray accompanies the laser pulses to provide comfort support. You may still feel brief warmth or a snapping sensation.
How many sessions will I need?
Our standard plan includes eight sessions: six to build reduction, followed by two to refine remaining growth and review progress. We assess your response throughout the series and discuss any additional treatment or maintenance you may need.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
The ultimate goal is permanent hair reduction, with maintenance as needed. Yearly touch-ups can help manage regrowth and maintain your results. Your provider will recommend timing for you.
Can men get laser hair removal?
Yes. Popular areas for men include the neck and beard line, back, chest, shoulders, underarms and legs.
How far apart are appointments?
Our appointments are typically spaced five to eight weeks apart. Your provider will recommend the timing for your treatment area and response.
How should I prepare?
Avoid sun exposure and tanning products for 14–21 days before treatment, and follow your provider’s individual instructions. Avoid waxing or plucking before and between treatments as directed. Shave the night before or the day of your appointment. Always tell us about medications or changes to your health.
What should I expect after treatment?
Temporary redness, swelling or sensitivity can occur. Follow your preparation and aftercare instructions, including sun-protection guidance. We review treatment risks and aftercare with you before treatment.
